A Time to Dance is excited to offer additional training and performance opportunities to dancers who are interested in taking their dance skills to the next level. The ATTD Performance Team spends additional time training and working to prepare for dance competitions and local community performances.
We’re searching for dancers who:
✔ Work hard and show discipline in their training
✔ Maintain a positive attitude in all situations
✔ Demonstrate a strong understanding of age-appropriate dance technique
✔ Receive feedback well and are eager to improve
✔ Apply corrections promptly with a great attitude
✔ Are ready to take on new challenges and push themselves to grow
We believe that all could benefit greatly as a dancer and performer from the opportunity; however, each dancer may not be ready for the performance level expected. We will make selections based on skill level, maturity, work ethic, and attitude.
Families interested must:

Parent attend the Parent Meeting

Dancer attend the ATTD Audition Workshop (May/Early June)

If selected, commit to the team for a full dance year.

If selected, Dancers/Families agree to the ATTD Performance Team behavior and team expectations.

All new and returning members will need to attend all 3 days.
Time Commitment

Weekly Core Class: 60-90 minute class
-
Weekly Ballet Class: 45-60 minute class
-
Weekly Skills Class: 30-45 minute class

Weekly Rehearsals: Minimum of 60 minutes
Rehearsal hours are dependent upon the amount of dances a dancer is selected for, the more dances; the more rehearsal time.
Monthly Weekend Rehearsals: 2-5 hours; 1-2 times a month in the months leading up to competitions or performances.
Additional rehearsals for community performances, Chipola Chirstmas, End of Year Company Number.
